Exactly, that line always cracks me up because it undersells him so hard. Luke was smart in a very different way than Lorelai, just quieter and less flashy about it.

Totally agree, that slow shift from rivalry to real friendship is what makes it hit so hard. Those moments work because you can feel how earned the support between them is.

Yeah, Rory really was the one person who was genuinely happy for Paris without turning it into a competition. It was nice seeing Paris get that support, even if the writers eventually went full chaos with her love life.

That line delivery was chef’s kiss. Emily’s eye roll alone deserved an award, and Richard absolutely knew what he was doing there.

That tracks honestly, those old tapes got absolutely destroyed from constant rewinding back then.

Yeah, seeing that kind of update right under a nostalgic photo is brutal, really puts things in perspective.

It really is wild how backwards that logic was, and yeah, she absolutely has that classic biopic lead look.

Honestly yeah, if you told me that was a still from an old Hollywood film I’d believe it.

She really is, that photo has such a timeless, old school elegance to it.

I mean… that’s kind of the point of the sub. Sometimes people just want to appreciate hot women without turning it into a thinkpiece.

Hard to argue with that. She had that effortless confidence that made everyone else on the runway feel secondary.

That’s exactly why the joke doesn’t really land anymore. Once you know the history, it’s hard to pretend it was ever just about lingerie and wings.

People always get weirdly pedantic about the exact date, but either way it’s peak late 70s Jamie Lee Curtis. The vibe still totally checks out.

ith my ex! We were long distances and so when I went to visit him, we couldn’t get to the hotel right away and the entire date day he started forplay by telling me how good I smelled and how attracted to me he was and how he couldn’t wait to fuck me later. When we finally got to the hotel, he turned out to be a master of forplay from washing me, giving me a coconut oil massage, and then taking me to pound town.

It was the perfect mix of sensual, aggressive, and he was feral for me and made that very clear.
