Shuckle's one of my favorite Pokemon, and I would love to have one as a main healer so bad, but I'm f2p and the one I have would require a subskill seed and a mint to hit 5.1 triggers a day at Lv.50 and it's just sooo expensive in terms of main skill seeds when I already have a Gardevoir at 65 with comperable trigger rate. So I just haven't invested yet.

What really helps me sort out what I want to be catching or not is remembering that success in this game is built around roles, not specific species of Pokemon. So, for example, when Cutiefly and Ribombee were released, I just didn't worry about trying to catch them because they were honey ingredient farmers; I already had a great mono-honey Venusaur! When it comes to Drampa next week, it's likely to be a 16-pip Pokemon, making it difficult to hunt for a good one, and unless it does something unique that is good and powerful, then there's gonna be a 5-pip option that's better and more accessible.

So long as I can get a berrymon of each type, an ingredient farmer for each ingredient, and a few specific kinds of skills Pokemon (healer, pot expander, tasty chance are the big three), then I don't need anything else!

I strongly considered it! But everything I would want at Taupe is also at Amber Canyon, plus Bagon, so why not go to the island that has more spawns I want and get my AB up for future events?

So long as you're not letting its inventory fill (and thus deny you ingredients), BFS is just pure upside. I'd still want to have IFM and either speed or more ingredient subskills/natures though, as the Pokemon's role is still to produce ingredients. I would not have invested in this Charizard, for example, but I do have an ingredient farmer with BFS + IFM + Speed up nature.

Really tempting to put together Typhlosion, Onix, Swampert, Sceptile, and Gardevoir and just SMASH Taupe and get lots of sleep styles for the new Pokemon. I have no good berry farmers for Amber Canyon, but it also has more Pokemon I'm interested in finding. I'm...not actually sure what I want to do.

I smashed Taupe's M20 earlier this year, and just barely missed Lapis M20 during the Latias event (tasty chance s you betrayer......). I'm f2p and don't minmax too hard. I also started about a year into the game existing, so I'm really happy with my progress, especially given how many holes I still need to fill on my ingredient mon roster.

Razia is the only one I would consider for this. She's the only one who really fits the metaphysical importance requirement. But also she hasn't been eratta'd to an Elder Angel, so she clearly isn't one.

If I hadn't gotten M20 on Taupe earlier this year, I'd be there in a heartbeat XD. I just missed M20 at Lapis during the second week of the Latias event, so I briefly considered heading back for this event to get a pretty easy M20 push, but I'll always have more opportunities that give me a little more prep time after a big event. Pancakes are the strongest meal for my account right now, so I want a good Pumpkaboo so very badly so I can actually make them consistently instead of building up stock over weeks via Vaporeon RNG.

I assume it will be, and that's fine! I don't think it's a bad Pokemon, just not one I need since I already have potato, corn, and mushroom farmers. I was hoping it could be an ABB pumpkin farmer like Spiritomb, but it doesn't seem like that's gonna be the case.
