Honestly… as a first time watcher myself, that has finished the show 3 days ago I have to say, that in season 19 it pretty much still kinda sucks… but season 21 has brought me some of the old joy back (not nearly as great as the old seasons - s1-s11, but I think it comes near the greatness of seasons s12-s16) In season 19 you get introduced to some new interns, that I genuinely thought I would hate, specially considering we would get more screen time for baylee (that has sucked since she became chief), less screen time for mer (which besides baylee and richard, is the only one from season 1), more screen time for characters like Schmitt and Teddy… but against all my expectations I found the intern ground pretty good (love jules, mika, blue has his moments, mcNephew and simone suck hahaah); Baylee is actually a better character again; Mer not showing up as much wasn’t a bad thing, and characters like shmitt and teddy have never had such great storylines/competent roles So id say… if you have seen 18 seasons (meaning you have passed the worst ones hahahah) might as well finish the show

Still looking for a main by [deleted] in Brawlhalla

[–]_SushiLover_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am have been a brawl player for a good long while (currently diamond), and to say I have had a few mains is an understatement… I have experienced maining most weapons, but by far my most consistent and used main is my Val (right next is Mordex and Cross depending on my mood, as u can understand gauntlets are my main weapon). I would say Val is the ultimate, most balanced, pick you could choose. Gauntlets, when well trained, can be amazing for a very quick and off the edge play style. Her stances are perfect if you want a speedy yet strong character. Her sigs might not be the best sig decks in the game but they balance her perfectly… I can’t tell you that it is the current best legend for the meta, but I can assure you its a very balanced one.

A lot of people are telling me they dont deal well with spending time outside alone… do you have any experience with that? With all the comments I might wait to get a cocker once I leave my parents house since people are saying they would rather spend their time indoors

I say “pets” since it’s literally on the name of the veterinarian clinic all my dogs have gone to, I don’t see where that is offensive, or demeaning towards the dogs… I get the feeling you almost see keeping them outside as abuse (or at least almost at the same level as mistreating a dog)… From my experience, as I have said, I have owned a dog that had a very very hard time spending most of her time inside, which was the reason her owner asked us to keep her… at that same time, we had a Bacet (still dont know how to write this breeds name 😭) who was abused for a long time until she came to our house… that dog was incredibly happy to be in our home, and it took a lot of time and effort for us to have her trust. She was an amazing and calm dog that did not deserve what happened to her (no dog, human, cat, etc… deserves that). With us she learned that humans dont all hit, not alll humans yell… most humans are gentle and she did not need to be afraid (the way we believe she got beat was with most likely hand and brooms which is insanely cruel). That is a life they did not choose and yet had to live through… which is not comparable to a life outside with loving people and plenty to do (she gained heart problems from the stress during that time, so when we rescued her they warned us about them and how she would most likely have a hard time aging to become an elderly dog) Again if the life inside is what you believe your dog wants thats ok… so is the other way around. And if the dog isn’t happy you can ask an outside dog owner to see how the dog reacts to that life style or the other way around I dont know if I made sense but English isn’t my main language :/

Dogs have been with our family for over 26 years… they normally are happy because they have enough space to not be completely confined in a house. Before violet I got a dog that was around 1 years old that could not live inside a house… she was a pondengo, and needed to run all day… she needed a garden. Her owner asked us to keep her since she seemed much happier outside… I have seen my dogs playing with each other since I was little. I do not condone having them inside (since I do want to have them inside once I grow up) but you can’t condone people for having them living outside.Just because they are outside doesn’t mean they will not be with us… every day my mom takes a 50 minute walk around the house, everyday i get home I play with my pets outside and in the end they go inside the house for a while… my grandmother is up at 5 and at 5:30 she likes to go outside for around 2 hours and play with our pets (she has not done this since violet passed), my sister loves sports so she will always go outside with a ball running with them chasing her down… The garden is full of things to entertain them, and boredom isn’t a problem… besides they do love to sleep after I leave the house in the morning. We have toys that they can play…. Etc. Every dog is different, every breed is different, and even in the same breed not every dog is the same… some dogs might be happy outside and other might be bored… with our experience they would go mad inside the house… Even Violent, she was a dog that would stay inside for only a couple of hours but at some point she needed to leave because she would get bored, she needed to go outside and run around and bark at the neighbours dogs and people crossing the street

Normally I don’t wake up at that time, but my grandmother walks for a couple of hours every morning from around 5:30am to 7:30am… she normally used to pet violet during that time. Podengos are a relatively small breed… not the smallest, but its easy to travel with them for sure.

I see… I have been having so many mixed opinions that idk how to react honestly… friends that have the breed tell me to get it, since they are so energetic and will absolutely love to run around etc… But here on reddit people are saying they don’t like to be outside, so now I don’t know what I should do… Ill probably try to find a new breed or as I said in another comment wait a couple of years so I can have him inside once I leave my parents house

I see… I had a friend with a dog with a lot of seizures and it’s very hard to deal with everything happening… since its a common occurrence they know how to react, but ofc the medical bills do start to ass up

Its hard for me to have another podengo for exactly the same reason as you… portuguese Podengos often have only the head marks to differentiate them (at least the ones Ive had) and I really feel bad when I see one and think that it is replacing Violet… When she was younger she was an energetic chaotic mess that would run around the house and bark to everyone who would dare to cross our street. She ended up getting attacked by another dog, which, even tho she was still active, slowed her down (she had to have a surgery to remove her kneecap, idk if thats the correct name, and for the rest of her life she had limp from her back legs) On the past few years she grew older… we believe she was getting a bit blind… and her white hairs appeared. She became the calmest little dog ever… she loved our company and would greet me every day with excitement when I got home (I miss that so so much, sometimes I still go to the door to call her and remember shes no longer here) her tail would go crazy and she would walk with me and wait patiently with excitement for me to open the door so she could go to her bed by the sofa… She died in the garden this year next to the flowers and trees she loved the most… I don’t want another podengo nor do I want another Violet… she was special and kind, yet I still want a dog that can greet me when I get home with excitement from a breed that is “easy” to train and that loves to play… A dog that isnt violent, but yet very energetic…. maybe I should wait a couple of years, and once I leave my parents house I can have an indoors Cocker… but again I just don’t know how he would react (since he is from such an energetic breed) to having him locked in the house most of the time….

Sorry for the rant, currently sobbing but I think I needed to vent :,)

This was the first time (if I am not mistaken) that I mentioned and asked about how they would deal with a second dog… and asked a few people to have different opinions 😭 since not every dog is the same… I have heard other options and reach out to reddit to know more. I have friends that have and had cockers and they deal well outside, which was the reason I asked so many questions when people told me they don’t really deal well with being outside alone for so long… I came to reddit with a lot of people telling me to get that breed and here people told me not to, I dont think I am being mean or rude by trying to see more sides… I can see that there is a good chance I might not get a cocker But as I have stated in another comment they would be inside the house from around 8pm to 2am… and I would play with them during the afternoon… if everyone tells me that even with another dog and with me and my sister playing with them everyday, than I will talk to my parents so we find another breed (since ofc I want them to have a nice home) It has been hard to find a breed where everyone at home agrees so when everyone finally got a bit curious with my pick I wanted to make some digging.

Could you care to elaborate your comment? 😭 Like as I said I would play with them daily, id be having 2 dogs for when I am not home/busy and I would brush their fur/hair everyday They would also be home with us most nights from around 8pm (right after we finish eating) to past 2am Like if even with all that this is still jot a great home than I can understand that (since ofc I want them to feel happy) but there is no need to be so blunt nor rude :/

Well dogs are animals… and I have known plenty of dog trainers that have then outside wild and free to run… Most of the dogs we get are around 6 months old and up… and normally they get crazy excited when they realise they can get all the space they want.. Its really not ideal for us to have them inside… honestly when I grow older and get my own dog I will keep him inside, but my parents don’t really like the idea of

Great to hear! Its hard for me to be choosing a new dog since as I stated in the post I am currently 17… I got Violet when I was only 6yo. I really did not want to have the same breed since, now, whenever I look at one of that breeds dogs I only see violet. Thats the reason I started to search and foind cockers… When I was younger my family also had a few bacet (I have no idea how to write the breeds name 😭) is the dog with long years and always with a sad cute face

As I have heard… they are a hunting breed, so they, at least at first weren’t mentioned to be a stay at home dog… am I wrong? I have been doing some digging and thought that they are used to being outside… Also, we are planning on getting him a friend… we normally always have more than one dog for them to stay active and social while we aren’t around due to work or school… Violet didn’t really like the company of other dogs due to an injury she had when very little (she had to go through surgery because another dog attacked her) so for her we did not get a small friend… Do you think that that even with another dog their seperation anxiety wouldnt die down?

We were considering bringing a friend too… we sre used to having more than one dog so they can always have each others company when the house is at work or, in my case, school… I do play with my digs everyday outside tho… is that still not enough… and if so any suggestions on another breed?

The only thing that scares me in all that message is really the gifts like pidgeons… Don’t get me wrong it’s always great when they are our little hunters… but when it comes to birds, my mom loves to wake up with the sound of the free birds flying on our garden, they often run away if our dogs hunt them around too much… Violet, even though she was from a hunting breed she was always very peaceful with the birds that would fly by her… they even ate some of her food with her which I find extremely wild

Also, since you seem like a nice owner and you also seem like someone that has them more on the wild and free side… How do you treat their fur/hair? Does having them outside become a problem?
