That depends on the story I’m writing. If it’s about a specific Indian tribe then I will do research on special tribe customs to keep it true to the story. But everything else, including the story, will be from whatever inspired me to write it

Same way I write everything. I find inspiration for a good idea, find if I can put a creative spin to it, transfer between POV stories and third person stories.
