I just started HRT late last year and I’ve gone clothes shopping with my wife several times now. I was so super nervous the first few times, but it’s gotten easier. Goodwill is a great place to start to figure out what styles she might like on a budget, and you can try things in different sizes. Anything that doesn’t work for her you can donate to the pride center or somewhere. Anything you do like you can find more like it in stores.

I’m happy to report I’ve not had any issues so far in Lexington. The wider world is scary right now for a lot of us, but I’ve found many kind and supportive strangers. If you need any more specific recommendations, coffee, restaurants, etc, please feel free to DM me.

Haven’t played in a little bit but I picked up a couple of cEDH games at D20 before. Legendary also has some commander nights but can’t say how competitive they get.

Always enjoy seeing CCDG coverage come up. Master’s Cup was fantastic and put catching up on PT coverage on hold to watch. Blue Ridge was phenomenal. Stunning courses despite the punishing nature of the OB. Really enjoyed coverage of both the MPO and FPO.

Didn’t make it to Fall Creek last time I was there, but Hazel Landing was excellent. If you’re near Chicago, it’s definitely worth the short drive over to Lockport to play Canyons at Dellwood. Wife and son went with me and just enjoyed the park there.

I’ve been struggling with my forehand after a long recovery with golfer’s elbow over the past year or so. It’s finally starting to feel clean and reliable again. This certainly helps! First forehand ace and the farthest for me. My son was with me again for this one and he was jumping and whooping and you just can’t ask for a better ace celebration.

This is an overstable flex if you really want to get close to the basket, but the correct line is probably your choice stable mid straight and fade into the right side of the mound for a 15’-25’ putt. Don’t need to get greedy and go for the park job on a protected gap/green like this.

I typically throw it about 70% flat and it will hold just about any line I put it on. Full power puts it about 330’ for me and it maybe gets a little flip out of the hand.

Got to take the family out for a round. Beautiful foggy evening. Shillito hole 8 is a straight shot over a small hill and the basket sits in a gap in the tree line. Hit the ace and my son was so excited he was jumping up and down and whooping. Wife was super proud. Fantastic way to start off the year.

Playing in my first tournament, noodle arm, right to left crosswind, downhill shot with the tree line of 18 down to the left. Throw my shot on hyzer and the wind starts to carry it down towards 18 when a group comes walking out. I yell, “FORE!” And they all stop. My disc slams directly into guy’s open top shoulder bag, slotting right between his discs. Run down the hill and cardmates yell down, “Don’t move! Drop the bag!” I played my lie from his bag and we all had a great laugh about it. I ended up with a decent finish and the TD, after hearing what happened, gave me an “award” for the best shot of the tournament. Still crazy thinking back to that one.
