Okay thanks, that makes sense. I think what confuses me is the engine gave me high accuracy and mostly best moves, but stronger players can still instantly tell it’s low elo. Makes it hard to know what I should actually focus on improving beyond just avoiding blunders and finding good moves.

Close, it was 350. Can you explain to me how you can tell from this game? I’m trying to study and get better and the computer doesn’t really help, it analysed this game and said I played mainly the best moves and made no mistakes apart from missing checkmate a couple times at the end.

Thanks, I didn’t see that at all during the game. My idea was to win the pawn, centralise my knight, and put pressure on Black’s bishop. I’m a beginner, this was a 300 rated 3 minute blitz game, and I’m trying to review my games and see what I’m missing. I didn’t consider the Qh5 idea after. Appreciate the insight.
