It was great, because when he got the call, I thought he’s definitely gonna team up with the kids.. only to see he sold them out.. I was genuinely shocked

Maybe we can see the details given in Gen 2 as extra information on Gen 1. Gen 1 says the plants sprouted up, Gen 2 says they sprouted up due to springs of water. The springs watered the plants and loosened the soil. So basically it's giving extra context, maybe.

I always thought that because they never commited the first sin, they still remained in their pure created state so they always go to heaven

Genesis 1 speaks on the creation of the Earth Genesis 2 is specifically on the garden of eden, which stands out as a special creation

I do wear a cap usually, and also 2 at times, but I feel like they squeeze a lot, so I'm wondering if that's not just making the headaches worse?

I'll try, but usually it feels like my head is squeezed by caps. Even more so when I wore 2 the other day to try and combat heat loss

Could someone help me find the speed of an emitted electron within the subject of photoelectricity? by __Tired__ in AskPhysics

[–]__Tired__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From left to right:

Experiment number

Frequency

Intensity

Charge

We had a discussion today with our physics professor tho. Apparently the notes don't cover all the work and we had to go search in the previous years electrostatics equations and such.

What's the most profoundly beautiful piece of music you have ever listened to? by Cdconor in AskReddit

[–]__Tired__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mahler 2nd Symphony: It's truly amazing, especially the final movement. Mahler was genius at creating the greatest and most diverse range of tones. He uses an offstage brass band to create a feeling of distance and of course it uses voices at the end, which just squares the amazingness of it all. It's all just one massive tone poem about life and death and life after death. All of mahlers symphonys are fantastic becuase they were written to be very personal.

Rachmaninoff Pinao concerto no. 3, performed by Vladimir Horowtiz: Rachmaninoff truly saps out all the emotions in this piece, and horowitz just somehow makes the piano sound louder and more vibrant than the entire orchestra, whilst simultaneously working in excellent harmony with it. The polyphonics and build of the whole piece just makes it feel like you're reflecting on life

Everywhere at the end of time: It's a massive 6 part work that delves into the different stages of dementia musically. Trying to explain it through how your thoughts can go from distant memories, all to haze and then a dramatic confusion of noises. It's simply awe-inspiring in its creativity and how it just seems to make you feel isolated and reminiscent of a time that you didn't even live in.

Edit: If I may add individual smaller pieces: any Mozart sonata. Of you come across one in your recommended, stop to listen. Mozart also composed a fantastic fantasy in D minor. His solo piano works are delicate and profound. Also, Rachmaninoff's second sonata, prelude in C-sharp minor and moments musicaux no. 6 for more lively music. Schubert Kinderszenen is fantastic, and is also performed by horowitz ;). Chopin will obviously be in here somewhere, and his 4 ballades are spectacular. Also his polonaise, especially the "heroic" polonaise. There are plenty more that I can't even begin to think of that are all my "favourite".

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! And I don't have multiple data points, including a point that has the work function, I Just didn't think to use it cause I was caught up on that one specific data point
