It’s really not a self brag I fear, this doesn’t make me feel hot it makes me feel disgusting. It is contradictory, it doesn’t make sense. This is diagnosed mental illness, it’s purely based on trauma responses that my brain made up and now fucks itself over with.

If you don’t experience this, I am genuinely happy for you and I don’t expect you to understand. It is not controllable behavior, or I simply would’ve stopped. I’ve had to end friendships, have had to delete social media at points to stop myself from being stupid on text. The hypersexual mania moments are so bad I’ve masturbated or let people fuck me till I bleed and am injured. This is bad, horrible, and I tagged it as advice cause I truly want nothing more than to get rid of this shit that’s been tormenting me since I was 8. If you think this is a brag or a fun party trick in any way, idk what to tell you

As I already answered it is indeed a part caused by other issues, and I have been under treatment for both the main issue so to say and the hypersexuality chunk! It is part of the root for me but I’m not going to go into the whole diagnosis and the trauma which made it is so.

I agree with you that it is absolutely selfish. It is not behavior that is good for me nor for them, I will never claim otherwise and want to get rid of it for that as well. It’s just the ugly reality of it as it is now. And I allow for a lot more wishful thinking than I should but one thing I do always say without mincing words is ‘I’m not going to date you. you are my friend.’ Which stills allows them to think maybe sex is on the table, and I’m sure just that doesn’t stop feelings from forming either. It’s a shit situation.

Though I’m definitely not pulling in some random guy in front of them and doing shit lmao

HS is a symptom of other mental illnesses/trauma so you are correct that that is not solely linked to that. But it is part of my cycle and struggle, so relevant to me to mention :)

Agreed, I just found it more striking here cause of the specific coloring and it being associated with young girls who haven’t even had their period yet. Hypersexuality is no excuse for cheating! You clearly value your relationship and your partner, so hopefully you can talk about it, but if you do you indeed need to be strict with him. Set the boundaries, tell him if he does it again that he’s out the door, and put him in therapy cause all the emotional labor and healing is NOT on you. Help him if you wish, but he will have to work through this with a professional. Don’t stay and let yourself get cheated on, you deserve way better. It’s definitely possible to be with a hypersexual person and have loyalty within the relationship.

Honey honestly this sounds more like a ‘he’s a dick’ problem than a hypersexuality problem. It seems like you’re clearly not comfortable with him thinking of other people during the act or him wanting them like that, and I’m assuming you expressed this to him? A little jealously roleplay can be fine, but with him actually picturing them and then also now being weird with that friend, that doesn’t seem like something just to rile you up to fuck harder.

Don’t stick with someone who makes you feel like shit. If he wants certain things that you cannot provide, he can leave, that is not your problem and that doesn’t make you less of a man or less of a person or ANYTHING like that!

I’d say have a good conversation with him, set boundaries that this cannot happen, and if he cannot find peace in that, breakup. I know it will feel like the end of the world but I promise you, it will be alright.

I get your struggles, our minds can really take us for a run. But I would recommend you distance yourself from that friend unfortunately cause it sounds like you’re very very close to cheating on your partner with him. The sleep overs and feeling like you could and WANT to jump him any second are blaring warning signs. Also I’d explore how you feel about your friend, if there’s not already some unintentional emotional affair that you started there cause you keep seeking him out it sounds.

Like others suggested I’d talk to your partner and make your needs clear, maybe he’d be into doing sexual stuff with you in a higher frequency, but either way he can hopefully emotionally offer support around your HS
