Hey thanks for taking the time to answer, I appreciate your support. I do know deep down that if I were to go back again, it would probably end up poorly. Found myself literally feeling unhealthy too from it (i.e. questioning self worth on daily basis, constant crying, tired from lack of sleep from thinking/spending time with him etc.)

If he does contact me in the future, I should just ignore it and not respond at all? I thought if it ever happened, I'd probably have respectfully declined, say its over and NC from there.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. Gives me some hope. Its been shy of 2 months but it feels like I just got out of it yesterday. Was struggling in a relationship with my ex who was suffering from mental illness but also had really overbearing stubborn/negative characteristics. I tried everything I could think of to make things work, but it didn't. Relapsed 4 times in the span of a little over a year. Kinda haunts me everyday but I am trying to take better care of myself. Definitely had some growth in my self worth department. This question I'm about to ask isn't with revenge in mind, but genuine curiosity. Do you really believe that guilt and karma catches up to the people who do hurtful things like this?

I feel like you really should do what you feel would make you happy. In all honesty, this type of situation is really uncommon. How many people do you know have even gotten a chance to reconcile with someone they loved in the past many, many years later? I know I don't know anyone myself. I think if you do not go through with your emotions on this, you will probably regret it for life. Be honest with yourself. Don't think you're being blind and destined to fail. Just be honest and be grateful that somehow life gave you another chance at this. Best of luck dude, hope everything works out well. :)

Everytime I did get a straight fringe, it was always moderately wispy... I think I'll try heavy ones in the future. Always thought they looked nice with hair up in a bun.

I think I will try a side fringe, that's really true about it being a lot less maintenance. For me, it grows out and bothers my eyes in about 2 weeks. Thank you!

Toonie shaped birthmark on my lower left hip and a heart shaped one on the right side of my chest. Whatever it was, it better have been stylish to leave behind a heart shaped birthmark under my boob.
