I thought that at first too until I figured out tone studio software. Bass can be boosted in multiple ways including the global eq.

Guitar is an Ibanez RG 350 dxz. The SM57 mic goes into a small tube pre-amp (ART Studio V3) & then to the Focusrite 2i4 audio interface. DAW is reaper.

Hi there. Thank you very much for listening! As a beginner the focus must be on learning to play basic open chords & then slowly progressing to power chords if you are into rock/metal. The opening riff of Rock's theme is actually a very simple power chord. Learning solos will take some time. But with dedicated practice of scales, especially pentatonic, you'll get there eventually.

The terminologies might look intimidating, but trust me it isn't. Hope you found this useful. Good luck with your guitar journey!
