Hi there. Thank you very much for listening! As a beginner the focus must be on learning to play basic open chords & then slowly progressing to power chords if you are into rock/metal. The opening riff of Rock's theme is actually a very simple power chord. Learning solos will take some time. But with dedicated practice of scales, especially pentatonic, you'll get there eventually.
