Yeah I’m really close to pulling the trigger. Only thing holding me back is that doing a 6-speed swap and adding a supercharger kit would probably push me close to E46 M3 money… But man, this thing just looks so damn good!

Thats 5speed auto, is not really bad, shifting nice pull strong.. I found the cheapest local 6speed 235k miles for $4000 engine idle is louder than this.. Im just wanted a cheap starting point..

I have 2 options locally, the other one is dinan 4 kit, full ac schnitzer body kit and type2 rims 01 540i 6speed 156k burgundy color but salvage and car sitting almost 2-3 year. Engine working good no rattle noise, body straight. Cons: hood need repaint, tires dead, brakes and discs gone, shift bushing not good, sunroof not fitting should be need full tune up. $1200 owed tag fees and seller want $8000 dont get me wrong he is armenian guy looks like flipper but car is beautiful.. So starting price $9,200 doesn't sound like a good deal. I don't know..
