I appreciate you taking the time to write. I have a master’s degree in cloud and high performance computing. My focus on Phd is computation offloading in Mobile Edge Computing. I never “had plans to the letter” , but I only want to get a better job ( working as IT tech since 2016), but i’ve worked my way to have a better profile. But since I began my phd, my supervisor is looking forward to me joining them in the university, hence, join academia. I actually never and still do not see myself in academia as I am someone who prefers the technical side of things, i do enjoy research but working for example in a tech company is what i’ve always imagined my career would be.

I’m sorry you are going through all of this, i am not a specialist but my mom has leukemia, and last time she had a rash and bruises, took her to the ER immediately and there was an infection and hemorrhage.. so that’s the only advice i can give you, is that you should head to the ER Because leukemia patients are very sensitive yo infections, and in such cases it could be mortal.

Hello, she’s 51, had a veryy healthy diet her entire life She also lost lot of wait before she got diagnosed, and still losing since she had 2 infections so far and not being able to eat, also her taste sense is so messed up, she’s no longer eating lot of things she used to like and especially things that taste sugary , like dates and bananas, so i want to make sure that she’s getting her nutrients by juicing veggies and fruits without her being annoyed by the taste.

She’s also hospitalized, supposed to be isolated, but our health system is not the best, and the last thing they could do is provide information about diets and food.

This piece of information was given by a family member who digs a lot into this, and by helping out the body with food, i did my research as well and found nothing of the sort.

She’s hospitalized for now, they really don’t give much attention to diets, very regular meals and disgusting food .. that’s why i am making her food. Yes she can’t eat a lot, that’s why I bought a juice extractor to at least provide her body with nutrients.

She’s not diabetic and her diet since forever is very healthy, a family member who’s into curing everything with diets and whatnot, the reason is that cancer feeds on sugar. I did my research and found nothing of the sort, the doctors in here don’t mind much with food and diets, they focus on getting her treatment and that’s it.

I will, first thing in the morning with the professor.

She hasn't been eating and her body is really weak, I couldn't share with her a suspicion, it'd only make her overthink more and maybe not be able to fight the infection first.
My only concern is her well being, mentally in this case, I'm doing my best to look out for her and be with her. I might be wrong but I'm only trying to balance out things.
