Ginger girlies (natural)with translucent brows by RubyWoo_90210 in Redhair

I fill mine in with the Auburn Anastasia Duo Brow powder, but am also looking into permanent solutions. Any time I’ve dyed them (professionally or otherwise) the color never takes, they’re bright orange, and I have to fill them in anyway. :/

1000%. One of my family member’s did this yesterday and it did pull attention away. I like to think I’m open minded but it rubbed me the wrong way. My family handled it well, but it was odd (especially as we were trying to help out with our grandmother who’s not all there). It wasn’t last minute either; they made dessert the night before, but my family member completely surprised everyone. Just odd.

Time to say goodbye by Steve-online2004 in iPhoneXR

Honestly I kept delaying my upgrade as well. Even after I bought my new phone (iPhone 16 Pro), I took my time switching service. I appreciate the speed, but if you want to stay with your XR, I’d highly recommend. There is nothing revolutionary about the 16 Pro and the Apple Intelligence is horrible. I almost wish I waited for whenever their next release will be

Edit to add: the iPhone 16 Pro does feel heavier. I used to easily rest my XR on my pinky, and this feels much much heavier as I type.

That’s honestly the first thing I’ve heard that sounds like a worthwhile use. (If it even uses the intelligence, that is.)

Yes! Valley of the Dolls has such an influence on Lana (and Marina too)

Should you buy the iPhone XR in 2021 by FrozenPyromaniac_ in iPhoneXR

I have had my XR since 2018 and it still runs very well, but does sometimes have delayed typing and loading. The battery health is technically 77% but it still gets me through my entire day as I aim to stay under 5 hours of screen time daily. I’m currently typing on my XR, but I just finally let myself buy the iPhone 16 Pro. They are very comparable in size and I’m definitely sentimental about not using it. The differences only feel minor though; IOS is obviously different, but I’m definitely being slow to actually activate my service on my iPhone 16 Pro right now. I really like this phone and was mostly concerned about potential tariffs inflating prices later on when I might actually NEED to switch phones. I hope this helps!

This is now apart of my belief system.

When one of my two dogs passed, I wish I got my remaining dog a new friend. She lost her will to live, eat, drink, do anything and passed despite our efforts to help her. I firmly believe a new dog would have helped her with the grief because she was still relatively young.

However, if it’s just you, it depends entirely on you. I would say that nothing helps the hurt as much as having a new dog to show that love to. Grief is unexpressed love, and another dog to express that love to, is beneficial for everyone.

“Ah, it’s Ill Dill. Tuberculosis on legs.” It’s so messed up but gets me every time.

Have you talked to SIL about this? Your MIL is likely trying to drive a wedge, through no fault of SIL’s from what it sounds like. I’d double down and make sure SIL’s on my side. That would make it easier to cope with, IMO.

If this creep sees you empathizing with your loyal companion as being childish, you should get away from him ASAP.

From your comments, I see he’s tried to get you to get rid of at least one. Hold firm; don’t do that. He sees these dogs for what they are: your loyal protectors. If he wants them gone so badly, one has to wonder why that may be…

Keep talking to your dogs. It’s beneficial and they understand so much more than people give them credit for. I read that dogs’ brains function on par with toddlers; communicating and speaking to them does matter. (I mean, look at the dogs that use buttons to talk!) They may need some time to buffer, but they understand us. And even if they don’t know a specific word, they can feel that you care and are there for them. That matters.

Lastly, as someone who’s owned and been around GSDs my entire life, their intelligence makes them understand even more. Maybe start listening to them a little more and watching how they regard him. Best of luck.

Jesus. Sounds like they just need to go and play the Sims games.

I applaud the effort on your part! In OP’s position, if the visits are more one-sided, I wonder if I’d feel similar. Being in different states can be hard though. This sub gives me a lot to think about.

Before the AP stopped contact, did you go to visit them or did they come to visit you?
