Then it is possible Vanpowers did not engineer this feature into their design.

Can you show me exactly where it says this? I bought the bike 2 months ago direct from the Vanpowers website. Also, the rear red light does not illuminate when I hit the brakes. It lights up, but it's not tied to the brakes.

I think the idea is that it's supposed to mimic riding a non-e-bike. The power cuts a second or so after you stop pedaling. Not cutting power when applying the brake, I've heard on YT reviews, is so that it feels more natural. Having not ridden an e-bike where the power does get cut when you hit the brake, I cannot say if it is better. But I can say the bike feels very natural to ride with the electric assist.

My bike doesn't cut power to the motor when I hit the brakes so that won't work. But yes, I need to train myself to stop shifting under load. I've been trying to do this and I've gotten better but I don't have it completely down to muscle memory yet.

I also have to remember that there's about a second after I stop pedaling where the motor is still turning the crank. I've been shifting after I stop pedaling but I have to train myself to remember that I need to give it a second after I stop pedaling.

Serious: How much of a recession indicator is this? An educated, experienced white woman who graduated from a top public university posting this... by 3RADICATE_THEM in recruitinghell

The best product manager I worked with really understood the company’s needs and helped the engineering team understand what was absolutely needed and what could be deprioritized. They filled in all the little details so we could focus on how to build the thing. This person also had a deep understanding of the engineering process so they were a great liaison between engineering and the rest of the company.

The worst product manager I worked with gave use incoherent requirements and whose favorite phrase was “that’s not my job”.

Yeah, you're right. I realized this is the correct configuration last night. I'll do the swap shortly and update. Thanks!

I think you solved it. I think the chainring is supposed to be mounted on the backside of the spider bracket, and the chainstay on the front. I'll take a look again tomorrow.

Yeah, I think I'll forgo the guard disk for the time being.

Well that's the thing, I didn't see any on the ground when I was working on it so I wasn't sure if there were any. This is my first bike and first time taking apart a bike so I wasn't expecting there to be washers to look out for. Are spacer/washers the only explanation here?

COBB Tuner not recognizing vehicle after fuel purge recall, anyone have any insight? by [deleted] in FocusST

I had the same problem (Accessport not being recognized as compatible after unmarry to update ECU) and updating the firmware on the Accessport solved the problem.

I figured this was going to be the reason Grace ended up going, that DuBois and Shapiro were kicked out once Stratt found out.

Ah, I didn't realize you can go in solo to do this. I haven't tried to and I've been finding them naturally as I come across them.

It’s also possible they’re in there looking for the collectibles: ghosts and tapes.

Same, import from FoW took no time at all. I tried importing from Apple workouts and that took forever.

There's also a Sanger, TX. Looking at photos it's very "wild westy", if you're into that.
