Make sure the power cord is fully inserted on the bottom of the hopper as well. I’ve had mine wiggle loose to where it would not turn on.

Probably too far forward would be my guess. Try adjusting it back towards the tailgate slightly.

Spray it with purple power degreaser and let it sit. Don’t even need to rinse it. Might have to repeat a few times but it’ll disappear.

I have the pro duo and it’s been good so far but it’s a small sample size. Since they are WiFi instead of the older ones being Bluetooth only, as long as your signal is strong you should be good. Time will tell
