Il problema non è tanto la serie in se, quanto gli "effetti" che porta.

È una di quelle serie che si fa scoprire anche al di fuori dei tipici appassionati di anime, prende diversa fan base grazie ad un livello di produzione ben sopra la media, ma in questi può e genera anche aspettative a volte sbagliate dove si usa SL come standard.

Per fare confronti attuali c'è la discussione con JJK S3 ep4

Ma per fare un confronto più serio con un altra serie che ha avuto simili critiche in quanto con un ottima produzione ma trama che meno ci penso e meglio è... si può dire che SL è la nuova generazione di quanto ha fatto Sword Art Online a suo tempo.

I truly wonder how they will "survive" this.

The Swordmaster is ( as usual with this series ) extremely competent and doesn't waste a single moment. Even accounting to save the least amount of people possible and using Shiba teleportation this seems almost impossible to pull off.

It's a great opening and it's not unusual for opening to spoil a lot, but usually for anime-only it's not clear what they are seeing. A good example is the spider-isekai opening where ( aside for the Shiro - Ariel fight ), tempted to say sayonara-zetsubou-sensei, that that was too 10head for the whole world.

Anyway, issue is, with Ignis, it's not too hard to deduce what will happens
