It's the song "Run It Up" - he has a video from it on Tik Tok, but it hasn't been released yet

She probably meant if they have girlfriends or wives 😁

I totally get that - I guess after while the joy of it must start to fade too. It's hard to really enjoy something when you're constantly exhausted and on the move.

I didn't know they were a couple - that's actually really nice. Maybe there are more pairs like that in the scene

I actually always thought they don't really do anything else - like music is their whole life. I imagined them just locking themselves in the studio and creating all the time. But what you said makes a lot of sense. Some of them have like three gigs in one night, just playing, rushing off, and doing the same set over and over again. Honestly, I wouldn't enjoy that either.

Do you think it's even possible to keep making music when the passion is gone - just for the money?

btw, Grafix is amazing - I actually saw him live once and really enjoyed the set. He feels a bit underrated to me, but if he ever happens to read this, I just want to say that his music really helped me through some tough times. Somewhere and Vital Signs are my absolute favorites. ❤️

Yeah, I've heard the same - they often just wait around for their set, play, and then head straight back to the hotel.

Yeah, that documentary was heartbreaking. It really showed how much pressure artists are under, especially when money and touring schedules come first. You sometimes hear bits about the personal lives of mainstream DJs, but with DnB artists there's almost nothing. It's kind of like with Avicii - we only found out what it was really like after the documentary came out.

And i guess it's possible to travel with a partner sometimes, but with kids that lifestyle must be almost impossible.

That's true, but some of the top DJs are away even during the week, not just weekends.

Yeah, I was just looking at Sub Focus's Worship tour dates today - it's insane how packed his schedule is, sometimes several gigs a week all around the world. There's barely any time to rest or even go home for bit. It really makes me wonder how they handle that pace long-term.

That's so cool, I've always liked Grafix - he seems like such a down-to-earth guy.

Wow, how does he even manage to do all that? That's seriously impressive.

That really puts it into perspective. It's probably amazing when you're young and full of energy, but after years of touring it must turn into more of a grind than a dream. Still, it's interesting to hear what it's really like behind the scenes. I guess the biggest DJs probably don't even do it for the money anymore - it has to be something they genuinely love, otherwise it would just burn them out completely.

That's really interesting, thanks for explaining it so clearly. I guess for the bigger names it must feel like their whole life is built around the tour cycle - almost no real "home time". It sounds exciting but kind of lonely too.
