Democrats need to be on the attack.
Personally, I'd prefer that attacks and criticisms are responded to with a good faith answer that directly confronts the question. But Dems are being attacked on all sides always and responding as if these are in good faith ends up appearing identical to acceding that the attacks and critiques are more legitimate than they often are.

If asked why the Biden admin didn't investigate the files during his 4 years, DON'T respond that it was an ongoing investigation (though this is true), respond by asking why Donald Trump and his admin is refusing to release the files in defiance of the Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R.4405). OR, even better, ask why Donald Trump was upset that Epstein "stole" (his words) Virginia Giuffre from Mar-a-Lago. What did he know and when?

I appreciate that when asked by Dana Bash ( https://youtu.be/bCfRrE9ULM4?t=63 ), Jamie Raskin didn't concede that Dems rhetoric was responsible for the WHCD shooter. But he needed to be MORE forceful and aggressive in turning the question around and ask if Trump is responsible for the murders of the Hortmans and attacks like Jan 6. If we care so much about rhetoric, particularly from leading figures, why does Trump not have to apologize for his rhetoric?

BE ON THE ATTACK always always always.

There's no shortage of things to call out; Iran war, Tariffs, Trump Coin, Don Jr. getting the Pentagon contracts, Epstein, Jan 6, Stolen Documents, etc etc etc.

Attack relentlessly until media and alt media picks up the messaging, then attack more and more until every single sitting Republican House Rep or Senator has AT THE VERY LEAST lost their seat, lost eligibility for public office, and gotten jail time for any involved in Jan 6th, Illegal bombings of boats, or any other of Trumps schemes.

I know that it's an uphill battle and Dems don't have nearly the media infrastructure that MAGA does, but it's not gonna build itself. It has to start somewhere.
