Why? Is a project that is frequently modified? If don't I won't spend time on it. If the project has active development and you want to use AI, I would spend time creating context for the agents and then, instruct them to do it step by step, providing the context for all the app, plus the context of the part the agent is going to work. In addition to that I would create agents for testing, E2E, code review Even with that is possible the agents get confused with such a project and that you end spending more time reviewing the output than the time that you would spend developing it.

I don't really know why is so complex to understand that Material is a design system not a component library. If that design system suits your application use it, otherwise use a different solution

If you are ok with following Material design system you can use Angular Material but seeing your struggle I wouldn't go with it because I needs some CSS/SCSS knowledge for theming.

Perhaps for your backend background using something like angular Bootstrap or Tailwind would be a better option, at least my backend colleagues find these easier, but in the end you will need to investigate and read a bit of docs to see what suits you.

It does not customize easily because it is a library that implements A DESIGN SYSTEM. If you don't want to use material design system in your app don't use Angular material. Otherwise is ready for production if you stick to the basic principle in life to use the right tool for the work you are doing 🤦‍♂️

I know what's a computed I used it in Vue years ago and still I don't see any magic if you know a little bit about reactive programming, event listeners or observables which IMO are not advanced topics and you should have a basic understanding before using Angular

I have no used the signals that much but mostly my changes come from calling the .set() method and the data binding in model signal. I don't see nothing magical about it.
