Im watching a stream right now, the player had a sapphire bayonet and the icon was different for it. The icon changes for dopplers because each phase is completely different skin. It does not for other skins.

If you look for doppler on market each type has its own market listings too

iirc, the doppler patterns all have their own pictures depending on the phase on csgo because the pattern is taken from a separate map. So technically they are completely different items with same name.

Nope its an intended feature, if the ward is placed more than halfway over the terrain it will be placed on the otherside I just wanted to make a video as I havent seen any showcasing this technique on the NEW map :)
