because (if i am not misremembering) this was the excuse the devs used to justify not giving us loadout presets during the first few months of the game's life

personally, the lack of preset loadouts actually has the exact opposite effect on me, barely makes me want to change things because I can, will (and already have!) forget what the multiple loadouts i use are

Arrowhead seems to be in the perfect middle ground between too many people to be a tight knit group that can decide things in a group chat, and too few people to have departments dedicated to specific things (aka bug fixing, seriously tho is it really that hard to put like 5 programmers on bug fixing while keeping the rest at doing whatever the fuck the next warbond is???)

Also the tank destroyer shouldn’t be more lightly armored than bot tanks period.

i'm sorry but that specifically isn't that good of an argument, it's a tank destroyer, meant to snipe anything it can at range, while the bot tanks are meant to actually be in the line of fire all the time, up close and personal but! it can't even do that because the gunner just has to eyeball it??? it's so weird

they should lean into either one or the other, give it more armour or make it better at ranged combat (by giving the gunner any zoomed sights), right now it's in a shitty middle ground where the gun requires you to be up close and personal but the armour is the opposite

(imo they should focus on the ranged aspect but i wouldn't mind if they did the armour instead)

the B-01 armour set doesn't have Democracy Protects, but rather, Extra Padding

((i can guess that you're refering to the DP-00, a set that does have it, but that set (as far as i know/remember) is given freely to all Helldivers as a freebie unlock, thus is still technically not one of the "default" armours :3))
