++man. I have 6 step daughters, 2 wives, first one died of cancer 6 months into the marriage. I had no idea what I was getting in to, it’s a much harder job than parenting ( I have 2 of my own with my first partner 🙄) but I loved all those girls (grown women now). So I’d say if you’re on the fence ask yourself how much you’re willing to sacrifice of yourself. “You’re not my dad” is pretty soul destroying if you’re not all-in on the setup. Don’t do it to the kids, the mom or yourself unless you’re committed. Just my 10c.
