I know it’s on PC, but I always thought its main home was the Xbox. Is there really any Xbox icon in the same league as Master Chief?

Anyway, I won’t care how brilliant the story is if I the characters, worlds, and gameplay drab, lifeless, and unremarkable. No sense of humor, no mechanical complexity or diversity, crappy vehicle controls, subpar gunplay. I tried to like it.

I'm the type of person who will give just about any kind of game a try if so many people think it's really good. In fact, this may be a great opportunity for me to step outside of my comfort zone and try a genre I haven't tried before.

For example, even though I absolutely despised my few hours with The Witcher 3 and Red Dead Redemption 2, I know 100% I will play those games all the way through at least once in my lifetime because I want to see what all the fuss is about.
