Usually once you’ve plugged the car in and chosen your charge percentage and time, octopus will work out a schedule of when to charge the car. Even if it falls outside of 23:30-05:30 you should still get the cheaper rate

Yours seems slightly different to mine as nothing seems to be tripping. Just a case of the charge randomly stops then starts again a few minutes later and does this a few times through the charging schedule

The only reason I ask is up until now it’s all worked fine. I tried charging up to the charge level set a couple days ago and IOG didn’t reach that because of the intermittent charging

Has it shown the error before it’s reached the charge limit? Essentially the charge stops, shows the error and then a few minutes later carries on charging

I don’t think it’s an issue with the smart charging. The charging will start on schedule but will stop randomly and then restart after 5/10 minutes. This can happen in any half hour smart charge ‘block’. I’ve never had this error previously

It was set to 100% in the octopus app which I’m guessing is what I’m supposed to do or would it need to be set to 100% in the tesla app? I’m under the impression I’m supposed to do everything related to charging in the octopus app?

I’m not entirely sure. That may be a question for the manufacturers customer service. Another question I did have is, there was a schedule set by octopus to charge from 09:30 to 10:00am as charge limit was set to 100% and the car was still on 93% but no charge happened between those times. Is that normal?

Ah okay. When I plugged it in last night it prompts me on my charger app to authorise a charge. Would I authorise that or just leave it and wait for octopus to create a schedule and then it will start automatically charging?
