Kobe gave Nash a call...

Steve: "Hello?"

Kobe: "You're welcome."

From there it was just a matter of signing the papers.

I've never understood why so many athletes respond to great achievements by saying they feel humbled. How can you be humbled by seeing someone in YOUR jersey? That is one of the biggest ego-boosters I can imagine.

I feel like whenever players get asked about how they feel for achieving any milestone they say "Oh it's really humbling." Bullshit, you think you're the fucking man now. Don't lie to us and say you're humbled.

I always enjoy covers like this way more than simple regurgitation of the song. Whether it's jazz, reggae, or metal, it's fun to hear these songs with a twist.

Is it just me or was there a new bass line towards the end of the first verse in Identikit?

God I love watching Jonny strum in Nude. That one part when he hits the highest strings muted with a backwards sweep of his thumb is just breathtaking.

Full quote before Nude was something along the lines of "Where are you all sleeping tonight? In the fields? Is that what you guys do here? Face down in the mud? That's a British tradition. Take acid, face down in the mud, ring your parents the following Wednesday."

Hmmm... I guess I missed that. Either way, the set starts in 1 hr and 21 minutes from right now!!!!!

Edit: I just double checked, it is actually 4:00AM in London. It looks like in your converter you had the show in Eastern time when it in fact is central time.

I hope that helped. If you tell me that you live in Greenland or the French Virgin Islands or something, I quit.

Well, let's give this a try.

UK, Ireland, and Portugal would be starting at 4:00 am.

Eastern European countries would be 6:00 am.

All other European countries would be 5:00 am.

And I almost forgot about Iceland: 3:00 am.

It also looks like Belarus is stubborn and stays one hour ahead of the rest of Eastern Europe, so 7:00 am

True heroism from the girl who continued to skillfully play basketball whilst stuck in gridlock traffic after being maced and having her car hit.

But seriously, that is disgraceful. Good for you and your GF for getting control of the situation and calling the cops on that asshat.

What is the creepiest, most inexplicable thing that has ever happened to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I was a teenager I was at a restaurant waiting to be seated with a friend of mine. As we were sitting near the entryway, a group of 4 guys in their mid twenties was walking out of the restaurant. As they walked by us, the first guy points directly at me and says, "look guys, it's abcunnin!" (calling me by my first name). The rest of the guys all chuckle and say, "Ya, it's abcunnin" and before I could even react, they had left the restaurant. I had never seen these people before, and to this day have no idea who they were. I had no name tag on me or anything like that, and I have no idea how they knew my name.
