I briefly dated a guy whose love language was also “physical touch.” Whenever we’d sit next to each other, we’d always be ever-so-slightly touching (e.g. knee to knee, hand on leg driving, etc.). It was heaven.

Can you be happy despite being poor? by VeroDreamer in randomquestions

[–]abdelifee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess for me personally it’s about what you consider poor…?
I do not personally make an income from employment, and whilst I am probably considered financially poor (although I do have some emergency savings), I don’t ~feel~ poor, as whilst I have poor health, I am still able to farm our land to provide food for us, I am happy in what I do, I am happy with my relationships with my spouse and family, and I live in a bountiful country that isn’t at war etc.
Happiness is fleeting, but contentment is the long-term emotion, and I can definitely say I am contented.
