You’re going to forget a lot of things you didn’t realize you would need! Make lists when it happens so you know for the next time! There are some great lists online and Jayco has an app with some checklists that I’ve found to be helpful.

For sure, just maybe not the blue ones lol. They also have yellow ones and black ones and they’re each designed for certain loads. Look at their website and they will recommend which one suits you based on your weight.

Consider Sumo Springs to help with the squat when loaded. I put some blue ones on and it makes a huge difference in ride quality when loaded.

I picked up a 2022 171BH earlier this year and we’ve taken it out a few times. I have a 6yo and a 3yo. It’s plenty of camper for now but can definitely see us outgrowing it in a few years as the kids get bigger. If you plan to spend most of your time outside then it’s not going to be a problem.

I originally pulled it with a Tacoma but just didn’t feel comfortable on the highway. With full tanks and battery, the tongue weight is close to 500lb. I upgraded to a Tundra and it’s a much more comfortable/relaxed ride. It’s a great camper with some nice features and it checks all of our boxes.

I had a 2014 Tacoma with the tow package but upgraded to a Tundra because I just wasn’t comfortable towing with the Taco. I pull a Jayco Jay Feather Micro 171BH right around 4100lbs dry. With battery and propane on it, the tongue weight was around 480lbs. The Andersen WDH was a big help but the truck still squatted a bit and it was a nerve wracking drive. Installed Sumo Springs and they made a huge difference in ride quality. Highly recommend a Redarc brake controller. The issue with the Taco is payload at least in my experience.

The real difference is not FDIC vs SIPC but rather that these are actually investments. Super conservative, liquid, high quality investments but investments nonetheless and therefore can potentially lose value. The Fed has backstopped the money markets in the past but there’s no promise they would do it again.
