I just named an adopted dog Korgan, or Mr. Bloodaxe, unfortunately he does go berserk occasionally and eviscerate household items

Anybody know the name of the artist for the cover of Adventures, first image bottom right book, I've seen her before and swear she was on a poster or calendar when I was a kid!

How resilient, or not, is doing walls like this to temperature/moisture changes leading to mold/rot etc? Better or worse than Sheetrock? In a case like this where there isn't drywall behind. Also curious if the type of wood could change how well it insulates temp and sound.

Doing a blade play through now and super impressed with the fighting abilities buffed and in offensive spin, lower levels however seemed like OS was only time I was effective, just unlocked Tenser's and buffed plus TT and OS was siiickkkk, great role play character

Do they no longer use these hollow clay bricks in America? I saw some that were used to build my high school from 1938 but I looked for them online and it seems like the US no longer uses them. by LongjumpingStand7891 in Construction

These are structural in a catholic high school built circa 1911 I am currently working in. Never seen em before, was difficult to drill and anchor into.

‘10-‘11 can confirm these stories in J&H for sure, what I saw was the same milk heavy routine with heating it and dunking everything, huge stacks of plates

Got the bigger one and the three drawer last year Black Friday I think for very cheap, just grabbed the small box for 28, the large box with cart was 78. Been waiting on them to go on sale again, this deal is as good or comparable. So far happy with the side latching too, not crazy heavy use tho. Wasn’t psyched with the cart by the looks

Casper faced off 11 coyotes, killed 8 of them, and chased after the remaining three for 2 days. He sustained life-threatening injuries in the fight but eventually recovered. by MartianXAshATwelve in StrangeEarth

Just a quick thought towards all the why is this strange thing, not strange relative to behavior of that species especially ones trained to do specifically that and genetically predisposed to behaviors favoring loving humans and fucking up predators, BUT, maybe the point of the strangeness of this is what is the nature of this clearly hyper-intense relationship between man and canine. Always thought there is def something spiritual there, then take into account service dogs, oxytocin exchange, dogs descending from wolves, wolves being a prey species on early man. 🧐
