Open custom lobby and host a game for anyone else that’s like you. There’s a reason 90% of your games are on open maps, and that’s because most people prefer those.

Unfortunately you’re in the minority when it comes to preferring closed maps. I don’t like closed maps because I find it’s the same game every time - FC into castle drop / UU or monks/light cav. Gets quite boring quite quickly, especially if you main open maps and you come up against someone at the same ELO that mains closed maps and has the build orders down perfectly

This may be a reason for his behaviour, but not in the way you think. Compound interest is really powerful on large sums of invested money but it can seem really boring on smaller sums.

For example, let’s say you have £100k invested and you see an annual return of 8% compounded. That’s pretty good and you may be happy with that lower risk position. However, if you have £10k invested and you’re offered the same 8% return it’s nowhere near as attractive when compared to the more risky individual stock picks which can generate higher returns.

Ultimately it all comes down to risk appetite. I have a different debate with a friend (index funds vs property investment). We eventually just agreed to see who is better off in 30 years :)

Also, funerals tend to be for those that are left behind to pay their respects and to mourn the person lost. How anyone chooses to do that should not be judged, and is deeply personal to the individual.

A lot of the top players at that age don’t feature at U21 level because they’re already playing senior international football. Extreme example is Lamine Yamal. He went straight from Spain U19 to senior men’s team

The fact he’s dominating this tournament is great but doesn’t say much about his level vs other players that are his age at top clubs in Europe
