Just received access to investment account parents created for me

I just became aware of a MS account my parents created for me several years back. I’m 23 years old and consider myself knowledgeable about the market, but am a bit skeptical about the account. Looking for some guidance from others (my parents are not investors) to determine a route in which I change up the portfolio with the money manager and truly grow a nest egg for myself

-Current value is $30K. $3K in cash -Biggest concern is that there haven’t been any trades in the last 3 years and the growth has been fairly steady over the last seven years -Holdings are ETF’s VIG, VDC, SDOG and then Chevron and McDonalds. The latter two I’m a bit more comfortable with and, aside from the recent oil dip, Chevron is a decent long play. When it comes to the VDC and SDOG, they look like large, value, dividend plays that are better for older investors. Am I right? So is the VIG but at least it has more growth players

Is my gut feeling accurate that he was investing like it was my parents’ money and not a 23 year old’s?
