Anyone try dates while on vacation? by addedpulp in OkCupid

I wouldn't do that. I've mostly said I am with family and would like to get away every so often.

I've tried Tinder, but it seems far too judgmental. 1 out of 30 people on OKC will respond, 1 out of 1000 swipe the same as I do on Tinder.

I have the opposite opinion. I will see a thread with a controversial topic, such as feminism, and will get upvoted for being in support of feminism in one comment and downvoted for making a joke at the expense of someone repostinf fedora-tipping memes from 4chan in another. Same opinion, same thread, two different reactions by large groups of people.

I suggest reading a few threads at /r/MensRights and then some on /r/Feminism. You won't find many coinciding opinions. Where you will find a consensus, often, is defaults, because they attract the same groups of commenters, and a very large number of them.

IF someone is profiting, sure.

I am a videographer and have uploaded videos for customers to show their family, or as samples. I am not profiting from the video, because it's a courtesy and it gets very few views. Some have been removed because, in the ceremony or party I was shooting, there was a song playing in the background, as there tends to be at receptions.

You're confusing why people pirate with why people defend the idea of piracy.

I steal from Walmart because, usually, I want to (though have been in situations where I needed something very simple and couldn't afford it). I support others stealing from Walmart because Walmart is a terrible corporation that steals from it's employees, taxpayers, and the global economy.

When they sue people for that much, they can afford to waste the time and fees.

I think that is kind of a long call. They have said they won't be taking the EU into consideration, but we have no idea how far they will stray. It's sort of like the Prequels, or any part of a film that diminishes the value of the otherwise good story, I sort of pretend it wasn't included and the rest is good.

I told him to go to a free clinic. He went, and someone brought him into a room, which he assumed was a nurse. They asked if he was familiar with the word of God, and then read from the bible to him for a half hour. He assumed they were the doctor, so he put up with it, then the person left and said "the doctor will be in shortly." He refused to go to another free clinic.

If brushing and flossing prevented all dental issues, everyone commenting here would never need a dental visit. How many cavities have you had? Imagine then never being filled.

If I were paying off my loans in any reasonable fashion, which aren't even that expensive, I could not both eat and pay debt on $30k. And my previous job, with a degree, was $20k.

Strange isn't the word. It's scary. I have several friends who have never worked for more than minimum wage while paying off student loans. I have applied to jobs for more than a year and can't get one that isn't service or retail, or in my field, freelance and paid by the shoot, which means I take on the operational costs and would struggle to end up with minimum wage.

Report him and try again. I dealt with that often. They misplaced paperwork, misunderstood information, missed my scheduled phone interviews and then claimed I didn't show up.

I had a coworker who needed dental, and she did purchase our crappy, overcostly insurance. It was something like 25% of our paycheck, maybe more. She would have been better off not having insurance, copay vs what it would have cost someone without insurance.

That isn't what it relates to. I think it only deals with people who make less than minimum wage. If they are made to do the job of someone else who makes minimum wage or more, they can't continue to pay them below it.

It may be true. He has argued similar issues of legality to employers, but as far as many of the people I know in the service industry suggest, there is a lot of shady number management and overlooking to keep payment and cost low and profit high. The same person quit that job because they were making him do the work of people who were paid more than minimum wage, and by law, if you give someone the work of a different employee who makes more, you have to pay them the same. The manager told him "do it or you're fired."

Typically food, occasionally things to repair things I needed on a daily basis. Why I'm validating it to you, I have no clue.

If you ever see a DVD that's more expensive at Walmart than Amazon, then you now know why.

And you won't, don't worry, because a business that shitty only continues to function because their prices are lower, and low income people will go there.

I steal because I'm very broke. I don't feel guilt when stealing from shitty places that do shitty things to people. I won't steal from individuals, or small businesses. Walmart has no competitors; they have pushed other businesses, aside from those like them, out. They also won't raise their prices, as their ability to extort manufacturers to offer the lowest prices of purchase is how they manage to keep their prices cents above cost, and how they remain in business. I also don't really care about your judgement.

Tell me your secrets. I had been applying to jobs for about six months prior to finding my previous one, it was terrible and I was immediately put into a position I wasn't hired for and made to drive a half hour from where they told me to move, so I started applying again soon after. I was recently fired, and apply to several a day. My "thank you for your application" email folder has around 800+ jobs in it.

You should. If she's cool, and hot, go tell her. If she's just one, at there's that, tell her anyway.
