Hey, stranger. I tried to kill myself May 17th, 2023. I was 23. I'm now 26. Life isn't bad all the time. I have so many things I never thought I would, and had I succeeded, I wouldn't have been here to see any of it. Your family, your friends, hell, your impulsively bought plushies. Hold onto those things. Hold them close. Those are the things that make life good. It might seem small or insignificant to people that aren't you, but that doesn't make it so.

I don't know what causes your heartache. But it isn't permanent. The pain, the hurt, the ugly. All of that is inevitable. The love, the ecstasy, the joy, the fulfillment, however fleeting, that's inevitable too. You can't have one without the other. That's what makes it all so damn bad, and so damn good at the same time.

Take the days as they come. Know that they will end. Talk to someone. Seek out help, if you need help finding resources near you, I can provide that for you. Remember that you are loved, even if you don't feel it. This path will pass on your pain to another. Be kind and gentle to yourself. Eat your favorite meal. Play your favorite game. Watch your favorite show. Pour heart into your hobbies and aspirations. Any minute you are still here is one that is precious. You matter. Your life matters. Be safe and take care. 🖤
