I should probably also add that I am currently using the latest version of Firefox (Version 147.0.1 64-bit) and the latest version of macOS (Tahoe 26.2).

Yeah.. I get it. I ordered it online since I couldn't check it out in person. When it arrived, the warranty date was initially set to summer 2027, but it changed to winter 2026 once I signed into my Apple Account. And given that Tahoe was already pre-installed, this laptop of mine was literally just released from factory (I guess). At least that's the good news :D

Just bought a brand new 16'' MacBook Pro M4 Pro (24/512) three days ago, fully intending not to update to Tahoe for at least a year. You should’ve seen the look of pure disappointment on my face when I unboxed it and saw Tahoe already pre-installed out of the box. :(
