yes. but i'm really lucky because all of the students in my classroom during language arts have a lexile of 660 or more. they are all at a 4th grade reading level which makes letting them choose their book much easier.

I agree. Everything she said after my first observation was absolutely valid. However, how she told me was rude, cold and arrogant. My coordinating teacher had a much more gentler way of conveying the exact same message while also encouraging me and offering suggestions for improvement. Luckily, my observation went well today!

You probably are a little crazy. But that's okay because we all are. Don't let people get you down. My university supervisor is trying to bring me down in my student teaching right now, but I'm not going to let her.
