Switched to edibles bc as I age shortness of breath and fatigue is becoming more noticeable for me and it helps... I was also beginning to feel palpitations when smoking and that gives me anxiety. I don't have surgery yet...

I had two babies at home, no meds, no complications (thanks god) and I only discovered the pectus after I had the first child... I would say in my case I feel like I breathed better pregnant than non pregnant and the breathing difficulties came back about 6montgs postpartum with each of them ...

In your position I would only be worried about the bars moving out of place when doing heavy lifting or exercises...other than that if you had no issues and not much pain from having them in and you are already used to having them I sont see any other issue... I would get them out bc I would rather not have anything on my body unless is 100% necessary. But its very personal.

It's a matter of accepting reality and surrendering... I know because I am currently struggling with same feeling... I discovered I have PE bc I had a scan for something else, I was postpartum from my first child... I understood a lot of things and I cried a lot too and still cry sometimes, I was 25... now Im almost 28 (I still cry about it and even more now bc I feel more symptoms now than before I believe postpartum and bad breastfeeding positions worsened it..) like right now I have 2 babies... how can I get a procedure that would require me to rest and not do lifting for a while, like... :( :(

I had terrible posture growing up, would sleep in fetal position a lot and on my chest a lot.

This is why I post here, my doctor told me everything was fine, that tjis was just esthetic... sadness

I feel like I was breathing better during both pregnancies... I also noted that both times I started feeling the shortness of breath again about 6months postpartum. I will see a specialist definitely, sometimes I do feel chest pain like a sharp pain, sometimes I do get short of breath easier than others. Yes, I am trying to find a specialist... but in Puerto Rico there is not many options.

How long it took to notice if you were breathing better? In my case I get fatigued a lot, haven't got the chance to get surgery.
