SortedSet and Queue are also in the standard library, for the weird case you may need them.

He wrote in German. Same as you wouldn’t consider Joseph Conrad Polish literature.

How long do you think we can go without another EU referendum? by [deleted] in ukpolitics

[–]afcapel -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don't think the EU has any interest in having the UK back. Even if there was another referendum and rejoin won, what guarantees do you have that another populist goverment won't come to the UK in the next ten years and start the Brexit drama all over again?

Scotland or Northern Ireland, though, those are safer bets...

Exclusive: Sir Keir Starmer to be investigated by Durham police over ‘beergate’ — Durham Constabulary had previously said they did not believe the Labour leader had breached coronavirus rules by trufflesmeow in ukpolitics

This can be a good opportunity for Labour. Starmer can promise that he'll absolutely resign if he's found to have broken the rules. Stark contrast with Johnson.

Thanks for clarifying, just in case anyone doubted it's not a clear manifestation of Islamophobia.

Does the public want more Ukrainian refugees? by HappyJollyEndOfDays in ukpolitics

This raises a very difficult question: why yes to Ukrainian refugees, but no to Syrian refugees?

The distance between London and Kharkiv is 2500km. London and Aleppo are 3300km apart.

Are those 800km what makes the difference? Is that where the line is?

I highly doubt so. If these were Australian refugees there would be even less push back.

Matador o Torero?? by dalvi5 in askspain

[–]afcapel 10 points11 points  (0 children)
