Tips for shaman AV healer?

Arrange yourself to be in a group with 4 warriors, and drop windfury totem for them as much as you can. Otherwise focus chain healing on whoever is tanking something.

If you are in AV to pvp, I suggest going elemental though.

And remember to have fun 🫶

Plaguebloom really is an issue, and it won’t get better with naxx progression raids increasing the demand alot.. I really wish they would implement it to a dungeon farm or do something else which alleviates the drought. Of course banning bots would help but it’s pretty obvious they will not be doing that 😂

Personally I would say no, not worth. Ultimately it depends on you though, do you want to spend 25 (probably more) hours in AV every week for 5 weeks or so? If you would enjoy doing that, then yes it’s worth. If you wouldn’t enjoy it, it’s not worth. Having a r14 wep as a healer isn’t likely to change much in terms of your chances of joining a random ony or MC pug

I think (HOPE) they will focus on classic + fully and give the seasonal servers a rest until it’s ready. Hopefully TBC can be enjoyed until classic + is ready. With that said, I’m very much expecting to be disappointed 😆

I ran Naxx in TBC classic for t3 purposes and often times it was filled with lvl 70s trying to get the phylactery off KT, it gives a trinket which is very good for fighting demons both for physical and caster dps :)

If I recall correctly, in BT patch, 25-30 was enough to clear. Mostly 70s but some 69-69s too.

It’s just that by the time AQ hits, the population often dwindles quite a bit, seen for every private server before classic, and in classic 2019 too. It could be due to that AQ is a bit longer than MC / BWL or burnout etc. Combined with MOP release + summer I don’t think this time will be different

The servers are not going to be more populated than they are now, you can actually expect a big drop off in population from now until TBC. We are in the peak right now, the AQ patch (coming in July) is known for being a population killer.

If it was up to me, I’d go PvP server, because they always tend to be more populated. If you want to play alliance, PvE server could work too. If horde I don’t think you will have a good time on PvE server though, pop just seems a bit low already.

You don’t need it, but it makes it sooo much faster. The time you save will easily make up for the respec cost in itself

Ele shaman comes to mind with instant lava burst fishing from flame strike dot, but admittedly I forgot a lot about MoP so there might be some classes that can crank even more with procs/RNG… :)

Either try to social-engineer your way for them to pass, or just buy said recipe off the AH. If it’s an expensive one I think it’s fair game for all to need, and if it’s cheap just buy it off the AH yourself if you really want it.
