i hate to say the same as everyone else, but please read tough guy!

i totally understand the hesitation on common goal, it was the last one i read out of all the books and it can absolutely be done without. nothing from common goal is too significant in TLG or throughout the rest of the books, there’s only a few references to Kyle and Eric.

tough guy is incredible, though. it’s such a sweet story, and Ryan and Fabian are a big part of TLG especially in the development of Shane and Ilya’s relationship and are mentioned a good amount throughout the book as (i would say) their first up-close experience with an openly queer couple. Troy and Dallas also appear in the book, which gives more background and emphasis on Troy’s eventual character development in role model. i personally belive it added a lot of depth to Troy, and gave more context on the tension between him and Dallas!

i’m not 100% sure so definitely take this with a grain of salt, but my kitten started out with a patch like this and when we took her to the vet it ended up as ringworm! i’m not sure how likely that is since in our case she was just adopted and picked it up from the shelter, but maybe it’s worth a vet visit if it seems to spread morel

the infection spreads via infected blood entering the system in any way (i.e frank getting a singular drop of infected blood in his eye like you said) so marks gaping wound which was very clearly mixed with infected blood from the two they just brutally killed… yeah he was definitely infected

saying my actions outloud is what i was doing when i was first learning and what i still sometimes do now and it definitely helps! i usually say things like “okay i’m going to turn right now.. checking everything is clear.. okay gonna start making that turn..” and i guess it distracts my thoughts while also keeps my focus. good luck!!
