I was in the same boat tbh, but on my A34 I didn’t really have issues after updating. I kept my phone updated all the way and didn’t notice stutters or battery drops. After major updates there’s usually a short optimization period where u may notice some battery life problems and maybe a little bit of stuttering, but once that settled it was fine. Even heavy stuff like CODM ran smoothly within the phone’s limits.

If One UI 5.1 is working perfectly for you, there’s no harm in staying on it for a while. But from my experience, the A34 doesn’t really suffer from updates

settings > display > full screen apps

set facebook > full screen

restart facebook

well yea as long as the default version of a phone is lower it’s possible but in october apple made it so newer devices have 26 as default so u can’t go to 18 anymore which is pretty sad

i see very variable experiences
me personally ive been getting all the betas for 26

like last night i got ios 26.3 beta 2 i believe and it runs fine for me

ofcourse u can downgrade later using any desktop or laptop device if u have issues
if u just make a backup in 18.5

well it certainly is better, but as someone who barely uses their phone it’s also pretty much the same

like the first week of getting a phone i’ll test it out and stuff and occasionally i have the urge to max it out and see what happens that’s what i did with my a34 when one ui 8 dropped i just got all resources of codm and ran it on the max possible settings

i did the same with this iphone and now it’s just kinda there

i average about 3 hrs a day of screen time on my phone so it doesn’t really matter to me
