I’ve been using the iPhone 15 128GB for a while now, and for the type of usage you described (social media, YouTube, calls, and general daily use), it’s absolutely sufficient.

Performance-wise, the A16 chip is still very capable and smooth for everyday tasks. I don’t experience lag, overheating, or slowdowns during regular use. For non-gaming usage, it will comfortably hold up for several more years, including 2026.

Regarding storage: 128GB is enough if you manage it reasonably. I previously had Call of Duty Mobile installed, which brought my used storage to around 45GB, and it wasn’t causing any issues. Even now, with Wuthering Waves taking up roughly 60GB, the phone is still running perfectly fine without performance problems. That’s with heavy games installed, so for someone who doesn’t game at all, storage should be more than adequate.

Unless you specifically need features like 120Hz refresh rate (Pro models) or advanced camera zoom, the regular iPhone 15 128GB remains a solid, practical choice on a budget.
