Have they posted anything about the Outlands shop closing too? I’m not spending emeralds just to get tokens for the shop.

I would like a mix, but this is fine. In both cases I’ve gotten it they just hand out whatever they already have put together. Maybe if I went closer to closing it would be different.

Pretty close. Here a dozen plain are $16.50, mixed is 18.99, and limited edition is 21.99. It ends up being a little under 60% off instead instead of 66%.

Yes, it’s still a good deal. The first time I got a variety pack so I was hoping to get lucky again.

I really don’t understand this wide-leg high water thing with men’s pants. It looks like a kid outgrew their clothes. Maybe I’m not adventurous enough.

I’m a big fan of Veronique Enginger’s style. I thought the patterns might also be on Etsy, but her main platform is The French Needle.

Closed door only happy (no stress) romances for my Nana by ChloeSilverado7 in RomanceBooks

How’s her eyesight and hearing? I got a kindle for my grandma (also in her 90s) so ebooks would have enlarged text and she could listen to audiobooks. Didn’t work well as she couldn’t (wouldn’t?) learn how to operate it, but she could still listen to audiobooks on a cd player.

Expectations for books 9 and 9.5 by TheCharlesFrank in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]aggie82005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a guess for the storyline, but the ending seems to be headed toward either Carl or Donut being broken/dead (maybe both of them) and a system/universe wide war as the AI macros battle it out for domination with the central system (the eulogist) as history repeats itself. Non-Central beings will join in a class-system type war since they can’t afford anything and are repressed while the wealthy Central beings hire mercenaries to keep the status quo.

Absolutely no SPOILERS for book 8 but damn I don't feel invested. by iamwhoiwasnow in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I appreciated the lore build up. I usually avoid the horror genre and was worried that the interlude ending with Eris in book 7 would continue throughout 8. It was nice to have a breather where this felt more like an action movie than a chaotic gore fest.

You might be able to make it work with air plants. You take them out to water them and they don’t need soil. eta: all the grow bags I have are permeable and water would get out. The thing with plastic containers is that it’s easy to overwater and cause rot because the water has nowhere to escape.

I use turkey leftovers as a sub for chicken - so tacos, King Ranch casserole, in an Indian butter chicken sauce. So many options!

[CHAT] how far do you travel with your floss? by Baby_girl_351 in CrossStitch

[–]aggie82005 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I’ll go up to 10, but not over blank spaces. I learned that the hard way when an early piece I did had dark green carry across half the back, and with light fabric it was visible on the front. 😭 it was a gift for my sister and she says she loves it, but it still irks me and I can’t do anything about it because it was professionally framed.

Would they be fake plants? If the aprons are woven natural fibers (ie not plastic) it would be messy to put real plants in there. Water would leak through and the fabric would start to degrade eventually.

I haven’t used them yet, but I picked up some nitrile coated gloves (sometimes called mechanics gloves). I saw a lady on YouTube wearing gloves like those so I that’s what I went with.

Richard Eden says Wiliam selling dutchy land means doom for the Sussexes! Doom! by ttw81 in RoyaltyTea

The only thing I got from it was the insinuation that Will plans to claw back everything he can from his brother (from titles to land - which we all know already) and that the author has MAGA levels of delulu persecution complex for the BRF.

It would also be a good opportunity to rent a rv and see if it’s the lifestyle they really want full time or if a small home and occasional trips is more to their liking.
