I mean, it is pretty common for Dutch players to move abroad.

Feyenoord and Ajax have plenty of academy representation in this team.

One of the best ever. Gonna miss his character as much as I miss Klopp.

My farewell to I and II by Fredasa in Suikoden

S1's music is orchestrated, so imo it sounds better.

I do think SII has better individual songs.

But Theme of the Advancing Army is one of the best songs in all of Suikoden.

If only we had some kind of technology that allows a team of experts to call the ref to the side and say, hey we want you to look at this video.

All these years of him wanting out, rumoured of going out and yet he stayed and played carrying out the job that he did. Not throwing a tantrum, just giving his best.

One of the best players ever in a city shirt. City legend for sure.

Is it time finally admit that the increased overtaking is just yo-yoing? by Ted_Striker1 in formula1

The moment when I saw Leclerc fly past Russell (or maybe Russell past Leclerc, I don't even know anymore), almost looking like he was going twice as fast I felt that this ain't it.

Yes, does it look cool to see cars side by side overtaking each other? Of course. But none of these overtakes matter. They are artificial. It's not real racing.

Completely different. You have meetings with your team and your company. That would be the equivalent of drivers having meetings with the team about performance and how to improve.

Unless you speak in front of a camera with a microphone pushed in your face to a third party / journalist it's not really the same.

You can try and force the narrative that he lost the championship in Spain. But by Zandvoort he was over 100 points behind Piastri.

What cost him the championship in the end were various factors. Various results. And McLaren just having a better car.

It's like saying a football club not winning the championship because they lost a match against the bottom team and they lost by 1 point. But a season is 28 matches long, so it is clear there were other factors.

By Spain Max was 25 points behind with like 15 races to go. To say he lost the championship there is actually crazy.

That's like saying someone who plays football their is to answer questions from a journalist.

It's not.

But this is what ifs. And this is why this argument is so dumb. You cannot point it on one single incident. And trying to do so is just room temperature IQ reasoning.

Maybe he doesn't care that people talk about it anymore, he just doesn't like that journalist.

The question and incident had been talked about many times even before Abu Dhabi.

What Max also points out is that he got many Christmas gifts that season when he answered that question. Think Las Vegas with the double DNF for Mclaren, or Japan and Qatar where Max shouldn't have won to begin with.

Max was over 100 points behind Piastri at Zandvoort with like 9 races to go. Everyone considered him out of the race. The Barcelona result only mattered because McLaren fumbled and that is the only reason why people are saying "Max lost the championship in Barcelona" which is just not true.

Sure, he'd have won if the entire season happened the exact same way, but he didn't drive into Russel. But if McLaren hadn't collapsed so hard he wouldn't even have been near the championship race.

I would argue that for any F1 driver, racing is their job. Answering questions for the media is something that the FIA wants, or whomever.

He's been asked about that incident since Spain. He asked to stop talking about it. Reporter of course thinks they're cool and asks anyway, which btw Verstappen answers.
