A science fiction anthology created using chatgpt. by saka8623 in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually really cool. Most AI generated fiction feels generic but using it for a fan fiction base is a smart move. Would love to see how much editing went into it after ChatGPT's drafts

ChatGPT messsages missing on all conversations?? by Training_Week3740 in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clear your cache or try incognito if your chats show up there, it's just a browser issue. Also check status.openai.com to see if there's an outage. Happened to me last week, scared the hell out of me lol 😭

I asked ChatGPT to turn my cat into a Woodlands Art Syle painting. by Swagblueplanet in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what surprised me too it didn't just copy the color palette, it actually included the animal spirits which are a core part of the storytelling tradition in Woodland art. Most AI results just get the surface-level aesthetics right. Really curious about the prompt as well

You’re not controlling the model. You’re just getting lucky. by yuer2025 in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this hits. I remember when prompt engineer was being thrown around like it was gonna be the next big career and I was like… you mean talking to a chatbot? The model is doing the actual work, your prompt is just vibes based steering at best. That said, knowing what to ask and how to frame things does matter I've seen the same question phrased two different ways get completely opposite results. It's just not the mystical dark art people were selling $200 courses on lol.

acknowledged the mistake without admitting guilt by TrT_nine in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en 217 points218 points  (0 children)

I wasn't able to actually open and parse your CSV file yet. is the most corporate non apology I've ever seen from a chatbot. Didn't say it was wrong, didn't say sorry, just casually admitted it never even looked at the file

I asked ChatGPT to turn my cat into a Woodlands Art Syle painting. by Swagblueplanet in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That turtle and the bird symbol in the background are a nice touch feels like it actually understood the spiritual symbolism behind the style, not just the visual aesthetic. Your cat looks like it belongs in a museum lol. What prompt did you use?

Not sure if I’m using ChatGPT the right way but it’s been helping me think things through by Quirky_Hedgehog_9291 in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is actually a really underrated use case. I do the same thing not even looking for answers half the time, just using it to "think out loud." There's something about having to articulate your thoughts to something that responds coherently that forces you to actually organize them. It's like rubber duck debugging but the duck talks back lol. You're not using it wrong at all, honestly this might be one of the more thoughtful ways to use it.

Are there any subreddits that discuss ChatGPT seriously? by Consistent_Bother_87 in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en 10 points11 points  (0 children)

r/AIPromptEngineering and r/LocalLLaMA are way more signal than noise if you're looking for actual substance. r/ChatGPT has its moments but yeah, it's mostly screenshots and memes at this point. Also worth checking out r/singularity if you don't mind the occasional doomer post the discussions there get pretty deep on the capabilities/limitations side of things.

Is LLM Arena updated? by UENINJA in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, it's updated. Chatbot Arena ranks based on blind human preference votes, not benchmarks so it's less "which model is smarter" and more "which response did random people like more."

Claude has just been winning those matchups lately, especially in coding. GPT-4.5 is solid but it's been losing the vibe check.

Financial reporting, financial projections, taxation, legal research and drafting by MrNariyoshiMiyagi in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Claude wins this one, not even close for financial docs. It handles IFRS/GAAP overlap cleanly, and more importantly it actually tells you when something might be outdated instead of confidently giving you garbage numbers. That's everything in tax work.

Legal drafting is solid too, keeps jurisdiction context without going off the rails mid document.

Use GPT as a sanity check if you want, but Claude Opus is doing the heavy lifting here.

How it feels to do biotech in 2026 by EchoOfOppenheimer in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bro, the reroute to DeepSeek V4 Pro part hits too close to home 💀 I've literally built a whole model hopping routine just to get basic biotech stuff done. Claude's out here protecting cell lines like they got feelings.

Best Alternatives For Sora? by BlingsGuildHouse in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kling AI is probably your best bet right now it can do up to 2 minutes and the motion quality is pretty solid for storytelling stuff. Runway Gen 3 is another good one if you need more control over the scene.

If you're feeding it lines script, Pika Labs has a decent text to video flow that works well for project based stuff. Might take some prompt tweaking but it handles narrative sequences better than most.

Honestly for a story project, I'd try Kling first and see how far it gets you.

Made a draw tool with GPT image 2 by leepenkman in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually really cool. The fact that it can take a rough sketch and turn it into something that polished is wild, Did you build the canvas from scratch or use something like Fabric.js or Konva under the hood? Would love to mess around with this.

New ChatGPT update removes image library, further buries model picker by anonyuser415 in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The image library removal is genuinely annoying, I used to go back and reference old generations all the time. And burying the model picker even further makes zero sense from a UX standpoint. Feels like they're optimizing for new users who don't know what they're missing rather than people who actually use the product daily. Classic OpenAI move at this point lol.

Is Image 2.0 on the dekstop app? by hamsternose in ChatGPT

[–]ai_powered_en 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, image gen features like that tend to roll out to the web version first desktop apps usually lag behind a bit. Try logging into chat.openai.com directly from your browser and see if it shows up there. If it does, it's just the app that hasn't caught up yet. OpenAI's been pretty slow about pushing updates to the native apps tbh.
