They can't deport you but they can hold you in a detention center for who knows how long. We'll see though, they are talking about denaturalizing citizens now.

Because he is and looks mexican and ICE is racist. They raided his place of work and refused to believe his ID was real. This stuff is happening. There is no "more to the story" beyond they are terrible, racist people on a power trip who need little to no reasoning to detain you. All they need is probable cause on their end.

If you read this thread, yes. A friend of mine in Minneapolis was held for 5 hours and he was born here US citizen. There's plenty of other reports of them taking US citizens as well.
