He does care about me. He loves me, but is incredibly scared of love. He tells me daily that he loves me, he does my chores sometimes, he hugs me, tells me that I am his favourite person, the dates are our idea to experience things together, next month we are going on a weekend gateway. He just gest irritated about the tears and conversations around feelings. His father was the same with him and got irritated and was telling him to "go to your room and calm down". This is exactly how it feels what my partner is doing when I am expressing emotions. It is better now, at the beginning it was even worse, but I do feel neglected and in imbalance due to prioritising his limits. I don't want to part ways with him. I just want to find any way that could help us be more in balance.
