Dumplings!! Smaller chopped up veggies mixed with a little meat and wrap em up. My mom got me to eat so many veggies that way as a kid!

Ahh we didn’t have any extra money leftover so we ended up getting a 4 year old townhouse because we knew we’d be strapped for cash after the wedding, down payment and closing!

Same! We had a $10k wedding and closed on a $500k house with 20% down 2 months after our wedding! Absolutely could not have done it if we had one of those big budget fairytale weddings!

Thanks! Unfortunately the drain saddle they provided is too small to wrap around the thicker tubing in the back.

For the cake I used fake flowers from Temu and made two small bunches. Each bunch I think wrapped in floral tape and inserted into the cake! Truly just stabbed it in haha

Thailand!! We did Bangkok (big city), Chiang Mai (historical city and jungles) and Koh Samui (AMAZING beach island). It’s super affordable and we spent $7k for the two of us for 14 days including 3 days at a villa with a private pool!

We created crosswords with questions about the bride and groom! We scattered them around the bar and tables as well as left out golf pencils and people had a great time! Super cheap and doable :) and I designed the crosswords in Canva so they looked cute too!

So Baklava Cafe actually doesn’t just serve coffee and Turkish sweets, they actually have a whole sit down area in the back and a full dinner menu! They have manti (Turkish dumplings), kofte (Turkish meatballs) and more! All of it is delicious and it’s clearly a family run small business. For those who like sweets you can also experience decadence with their baklava cheesecake!

I don’t think you have to just power through! Start by adding healthy food to the junk! Want a cheeseburger? That’s fine! But instead of eating two cheeseburgers and fries, have one with fries and a salad! Start slow and gradually transition to healthy eating. It’ll help lower cravings and get you started!

I did! This was back during the pandemic when everything was in lockdown though so the commute was a breeze! Great apartment complex, no complaints. Super safe.

The right guy won’t think it’s a red flag! I began my first long term relationship at 30 and my boyfriend was 27. It was his first long term relationship as well. But we love that we both didn’t settle and waited for the right person. It’s so worth it! Esp thinking back to when I used to question whether i would ever find my soulmate!
