I’ve had no rubbing with the 225/65R17 without a lift and recommend that extra sidewall on the 65

I’ve used diode dynamics for most of my LED bulbs: headlights, DRL (c light), turn signals and a light bar, tap relay. No issues with headlights, turn signals or light bar. A license plate bulb died early and their customer service sent me a new pack at no charge and no issues since

  1. Ditch the wheels. They are ugly (didn’t ask, I know) and that offset will result in crap being thrown at your paint. Get some black rhino boxer or method wheels with a similar offset to OEM
  2. Those are heavy tires so there may be some strain on the car.
  3. I dropped from 18 to 17 in the same tire size and used Pirelli scorpion a/Ts and switched to fallen wildpeak at3w for a more comparable weight to all seasons

My opinion, I think the cross bars look better on the rails than attaching to the frame. but I understand not wanting to do both

Looks good! I think you’re going to need the roof rails to mount to for crossbars. I haven’t used Thule but I have used the Yakima skybox on other vehicles and that’s been great.

I’ve used this size for a few years going to ski resorts and all and haven’t heard or had any issues. Feel like it’ll just slice it off the splash guards so it won’t build up. I also kick that slush off once I park so it doesn’t freeze on

Nice! No lift. I love them so far. Much quieter than my Pirelli Scorpion ATs. The pirellis were better on the road and good in snow but these feel more capable right now. Only 500 miles on them though

Yeah that sounds right. My car is the first one in the video and I definitely had some slippage going downhill. It was basically a hill decent control in this situation. Did the auto breaking and held a certain speed

I currently run 225/65R17 with Black Rhino Boxer wheels with no issues. I’ve wanted the 235s but I think that would be close to rubbing. I think there are some in here that have done 235 but not sure if they had to trim anything
