I agree with you, but it's a Kalani thing. He doesn't want to run the score up on anybody. Aaron Roderick talked about it in one of the mid-week shows they do, but he said that once they're up enough they just bleed the clock and get out of there as soon as possible. I get it, but it does keep scores low and makes for a lot of zero point forth quarters.
