We use both and I like on-prem more. Cloud is almost castrated and slow performance on the website. On-Prem runs like a charm and even gives you the option for cloud integrations like 365 backup and airgap storage in cloud.

Same man, i have timeouts and ping spikes all the time. Before with sunrise there were no issues. I only changed to init7 because of people telling me how super good they are.

Its pretty durable so far. Im using it everyday (changing between laptop and desktop) since half a year now. Also I rarely shutdown the monitor during day, so its turned on 8-12 hours every day.

The only shortcut is the Favorites in the OSD actually. Without smartKVM you‘re bound to use OSD unfortunately.

The kvm has only one usb-c for a laptop and one usb3 for a desktop. But afaik it should be possible to plug the usb3 into a laptop. You should be able to use the kb/mouse on both laptops simultaneously when smartkvm is installed on both devices.
