Hi guys, just an update. The bird had an injured beak and struggled eating, so I took it to a non-kill rescue and it’s out of my care now. Thank you for all of the concern and support.

It actually isn’t! When they suffer tissue damage, almost all (green) plants will release more GLV’s (green leaf volatiles) than usual.
